Birdly

When you play DeltaRune, you get totally lost in the story. And not accidentally. The authors put great care into creating every character, that’s why even those that don’t have such a prominent sway on the events instantly capture the hearts of the players. One of them is Birdly, an anthropomorphic bird with blue feathers who is the best student in the class and also a friend of Noel. And although birds are generally known for their sharp sight, this one wears glasses (or maybe it’s just a way to show how smart he is).

At first, we see Birdly as a very self-assured character who despises everyone except Noel because she is the only one naive enough to be his friend. He dreams of opening another Dark Fountain and building a world where everyone would worship him. However, as the story evolves, so does his personality. The events that happen to him in the course of the storyline change some of his traits for the better and he begins perceiving people (or rather monsters in this particular case) much better.
